Solace in surface explores the connection between the surface design of textile objects and their effects on the emotional comfort of their proprietor. Through exploring emotional responses to color and patterns as well as studying the personal atheistic of my audience I have developed a series of patterns and objects that inspire comfort and joy. These patterns utilize vibrant colors and lighthearted imagery to create visuals that trigger positive emotional responses.
